7 best WhatsApp booking bots for salons and beauty pros in 2026
A good WhatsApp booking bot does three things: it books clients right in the chat, reminds them about their visit on its own, and answers questions while you work. We compared seven services: our own AiKlient, Kanri, Zapis.kz, Altegio, WhatsApp Business, Manychat and Wazzup.
With AiKlient, booking in WhatsApp and Telegram, reminders and AI answers all come in one subscription: €15 a month for the whole salon, which is about ₸7,600 (€15) in Kazakhstan. With Kanri and Zapis.kz, an AI bot that books clients in WhatsApp costs extra: from ₸38,025 (≈ €75.3) a month. Altegio offers this kind of bot through its partners. WhatsApp Business, Manychat and Wazzup have no built-in booking in the chat.
Below, we review each service in the same format and help you choose. Prices come from the official websites and were checked on 22 October 2026.
What is a WhatsApp booking bot?
A WhatsApp booking bot is a program that chats with your clients for you. It knows your services, prices and free slots, offers the client a time, adds the booking to your calendar and sends a reminder before the visit. Clients don’t need to download anything: they book in the same messenger they already use to message you.
Other tools often get called WhatsApp chatbots too:
- Auto-replies in WhatsApp Business. The greeting and away messages go out automatically, but they’re pre-written text that knows nothing about your free slots.
- Bot builders such as Manychat. You can build almost any flow, but booking, free-slot checks and reminders are yours to build.
- CRM chat inboxes such as Wazzup. WhatsApp messages land in your CRM, and your staff reply and make the bookings.
Why use a bot if you can reply yourself? Clients message you when it suits them. Phorest, a salon booking platform, looked at bookings in more than 5,000 salons and spas: 46% of appointments were booked while the salon was closed (2019 data). A bot replies and books clients during those hours, and in the morning you see the bookings already made.
How we compared them
We looked at what a beauty pro needs every day. There are five criteria:
- Booking right in the chat. Does the bot offer free times and book the client itself, within the WhatsApp conversation?
- The full monthly price. The subscription plus everything WhatsApp booking won’t work without: AI add-ons, integrations, message fees. We calculated it for one pro or a small salon, with monthly billing where available.
- Reminders. Does the service send visit reminders on its own, and what does that cost?
- Languages. Which languages the bot speaks with clients. In Latvia and Kazakhstan, Russian, Latvian and Kazakh are important.
- How much you set up yourself. A ready-made service, or a builder where you create the flow from scratch.
On 22 October 2026 we checked each service’s official pricing pages, feature descriptions and help pages. We didn’t take reviews or ratings from other sites into account. Tenge amounts are converted to euros at the National Bank of Kazakhstan rate for 21 October 2026: ₸505.04 to €1. Dollar prices are as listed on the services’ websites.
We ranked the seven services using three questions: how much of the booking in WhatsApp each one handles on its own, what its subscription covers, and what it all costs per month. AiKlient is our own service, so we cover it in more detail.

- Zapis.kz: a booking system with a salon directory and a client app. ₸30,400 (≈ €60.2) for 3 months, while AI booking in WhatsApp comes from the Remind365 service at ₸38,025 (≈ €75.3) a month.

1. AiKlient (our service)
AiKlient is a WhatsApp and Telegram booking bot for beauty pros and small salons. Clients book in the messenger where they already chat with you, and the bot takes care of finding a time, sending reminders and answering questions.
- Who it’s for: nail techs, brow and lash artists, hairdressers, massage therapists and small salons whose clients message them on WhatsApp and Telegram and find them on Instagram and Google.
- Price: €15 a month for the whole salon; in Kazakhstan, that’s about ₸7,600 (€15). Unlimited staff, all features included. The first month is free, no card needed, and there’s no contract.
- How clients book: they open the chat from your link or the button on your business page, then choose a service, a staff member, a day and a time right in WhatsApp or Telegram. In Telegram they tap buttons; in WhatsApp they choose one of the options offered. The bot never offers a time that’s already taken, so two clients can’t end up in the same slot. Every booking reaches you as a notification in Telegram, or by email if you don’t use Telegram, and you confirm it with one tap.
- Reminders: the evening before and 2, 3, 4 or 6 hours before the visit, in whichever messenger the client booked through. You don’t pay separately for WhatsApp messages. You can also switch on two more messages: after the visit, the bot asks for a review on Google, Facebook or 2GIS, and after 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks it invites the client to book again. Clients who have already booked their next visit don’t get the invitation.
- Languages: English, Russian, Latvian, Kazakh, Lithuanian, Estonian, German, Swedish and Norwegian, nine in all. Clients book in their own language.
What else the €15 includes:
- AI answers questions around the clock. “How much is it?”, “Where are you?”, “Are you open on Saturday?” The bot replies right away using your own data: services, prices, opening hours, address and your “About” text. If it doesn’t know something, it doesn’t make it up; it suggests asking you instead.
- A free business page at aiklient.com/s/your-name: photos of your work, services with prices, hours, address and booking right on the page. Add the link to Instagram, Google and 2GIS.
- A booking form for your website with one line of code: Tilda, Wix, WordPress or an Instagram landing page. Bookings from your website, WhatsApp and Telegram all land in one calendar.
- Two-way Google Calendar sync. Bookings appear in your calendar, and the bot won’t offer clients any time you’ve blocked there for personal plans.
- Staff at no extra cost. Each team member has their own schedule, and clients choose a specific person or “Anyone available”.
- A client database with visit history, PDF invoices and a QR code for your reception desk or mirror.
- Your own payment methods. Revolut, PayPal, Stripe, Kaspi or bank transfer: clients pay you directly, and we take no commission.
- Your clients stay yours. There’s no shared directory listing you next to competitors, and you can export your contacts at any time. Data is stored in the EU.
- Setup in 10 minutes. Short on time? Choose “Set up the bot for me”, fill in a short form and we’ll set up the bot for you. You’ll hear back within a day.
You connect WhatsApp in your dashboard under “Bot → WhatsApp”. Creating your Telegram bot takes about five minutes; our Telegram booking bot guide shows you how.

2. Kanri
Kanri is a CRM for salons, barbershops, nail studios and clinics in Kazakhstan: bookings, WhatsApp, a POS with Kaspi QR and payroll in one program.
- Who it’s for: salons and clinics in Kazakhstan that have a receptionist and need a POS with Kaspi QR, payroll and inventory.
- Price: ₸20,000 (≈ €39.6) a month per location or ₸120,000 (≈ €237.6) a year, whatever the number of staff. The first 7 days are free, no card needed. Solo pros can use the free “Master” plan in the iPhone app, but it doesn’t include WhatsApp reminders. Aya, the AI receptionist who books clients in WhatsApp herself, is added separately: ₸50,000 (≈ €99) a month for 1,000 conversations, with no free trial. Together with Kanri, that’s ₸70,000 (≈ €138.6) a month.
- How clients book: on the online booking page or in the Kanri directory. In WhatsApp, the client writes, and a receptionist finds a time and adds the booking to the schedule. Aya books clients in the chat herself, if you add her.
- Reminders: in WhatsApp when the booking is made, 24 hours before and 2 hours before the visit, included in the subscription. The client can reply to confirm, cancel or ask to reschedule.
- Languages: Aya replies in Russian and Kazakh.
3. Zapis.kz
Zapis.kz is an online booking system and a directory of salons in Kazakhstan, with a free app for clients.
- Who it’s for: salons and clinics in Kazakhstan that want a listing in the zapis.kz directory, finance and inventory tracking, and loyalty programmes.
- Price: for 1–2 staff, ₸30,400 (≈ €60.2) paid upfront for 3 months, which works out at ₸10,133 (≈ €20.1) a month; ₸83,480 (≈ €165.3) for a year. The website doesn’t offer monthly billing. There’s a 5-day trial.
- How clients book: in the Zapis.kz app and directory, through a multi-link or a widget on your website. Booking right in the WhatsApp chat is handled by the AI assistant from Remind365. The Remind365 + AI Assistant plan costs ₸38,025 (≈ €75.3) a month for 1–5 specialists, with an AI limit of 1,500 messages a month. Together with a Zapis.kz subscription, that comes to about ₸48,200 (≈ €95.4) a month.
- Reminders: push notifications in the app. WhatsApp reminders come through Remind365 for ₸23,500 (≈ €46.5) a month on top of the subscription.
- Languages: according to Remind365, the AI assistant understands any language.
4. Altegio
Altegio is software for salons and chains: online booking, a client database, inventory, finances and payroll.
- Who it’s for: salons in Europe or Kazakhstan that have a receptionist and manage inventory, finances and payroll.
- Price: for up to two staff, €29.99 a month excluding VAT in Latvia and ₸7,000 (≈ €13.9) in Kazakhstan, billed monthly. Paying in advance earns you bonus months, and the price rises with the number of staff. The first 7 days are free, no card needed.
- How clients book: through a widget on your website, a link or the Altegio.me app. AI receptionists from Altegio’s partners can book clients in WhatsApp, Telegram and Instagram. They’re connected separately: most offer a trial of up to 30 days, after which the partner’s own terms apply.
- Reminders: email and push notifications in the Altegio.me app are free, while WhatsApp reminders are charged per message.
- Languages: according to Altegio, its partners’ AI receptionists reply in whatever language the client writes in.
5. WhatsApp Business
WhatsApp Business is WhatsApp’s free app for small businesses, available for Android and iPhone.
- Who it’s for: pros who don’t have many clients and are happy to reply and book them in themselves.
- Price: free.
- How clients book: they message you, and you find a time and record the booking yourself, in a notebook, a calendar or an app. The app’s tools help you reply faster: a greeting message for new clients, an away message on a schedule or outside business hours, up to 50 quick replies, labels and a catalogue of your services. There’s also an AI agent for replying to customers, but for now it’s available only in some countries.
- Reminders: there are no automatic appointment reminders, so you send them by hand. The app does have broadcasts, but those are announcements sent to many clients at once.
- Languages: you write the greeting and auto-replies yourself, in any language.
6. Manychat
Manychat is a chatbot builder for Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok and Telegram. It’s made for marketing: auto-replies to comments and messages, lead capture and broadcasts.
- Who it’s for: bloggers, online shops and marketers who automate Instagram and collect leads.
- Price: there’s a free plan, but you can’t connect WhatsApp on it. WhatsApp starts with the Pro plan: $39 a month, or $29 a month billed annually, excluding tax. The plan includes 2,500 active contacts a month; beyond that, you pay for each extra contact. WhatsApp messages themselves are charged on top of the plan: you top up a balance in Manychat to cover them. You can try Pro for 14 days.
- How clients book: however you set it up. You build the flow for picking a service, day and time, the free-slot check and the calendar connection yourself in the builder.
- Reminders: also a flow you build yourself.
- Languages: you write the bot’s texts yourself, in any language. Manychat’s website is in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
7. Wazzup
Wazzup connects WhatsApp, Telegram and other messengers to a CRM: more than 50 systems, including Bitrix24, Kommo, HubSpot and Zoho. Conversations with clients are stored in the CRM.
- Who it’s for: sales teams that work in a CRM and want to message clients on WhatsApp and Telegram right from it.
- Price: WhatsApp costs $15 a month per number on the START plan (up to 50 chats), or $12 a month billed annually. Plans for 500 chats cost $30 (INBOX, incoming only) and $45 (PRO). There’s a 3-day trial. You also need a CRM for Wazzup to connect to.
- How clients book: the client writes on WhatsApp, the message lands in the CRM, and a staff member books them in.
- Reminders: visit reminders go through your CRM, if it can send them. Wazzup itself has auto-replies and saved replies, so clients aren’t left without an answer even outside working hours.
- Languages: your staff reply, in any language.
Why Fresha and DIKIDI aren’t on the list
Fresha and DIKIDI are online booking systems: clients book on their website, in their app or through a link. For them, WhatsApp is a paid notification channel: clients receive messages about their booking, but there’s no conversation in the chat. Fresha includes 20 free messages a month, after which a WhatsApp message costs €0.11–0.30. DIKIDI’s WhatsApp channel is free for the first 3 days after you connect it and paid after that. That’s why we didn’t include them in this roundup of WhatsApp booking bots.
Which WhatsApp booking bot to choose
- A solo pro or small salon whose clients message on WhatsApp and Telegram: AiKlient. The bot books clients right in the chat, sends reminders on its own and replies even at night, and the price is €15 a month for your whole team.
- A salon or clinic in Kazakhstan that has a receptionist and needs a POS with Kaspi QR and payroll: Kanri. AI booking in WhatsApp is a separate add-on at ₸50,000 (≈ €99) a month.
- You need a directory listing and a client app in Kazakhstan: Zapis.kz.
- A large salon with inventory and payroll, in Europe or Kazakhstan: Altegio.
- You don’t get many bookings and reply yourself: the free WhatsApp Business app.
- You need Instagram marketing, broadcasts and lead capture: Manychat.
- Your sales team works in a CRM: Wazzup.
If you don’t need inventory, a POS or sales funnels, other things matter more: clients booking themselves, arriving on time and getting an answer even when you’re busy. For that, AiKlient puts everything in one subscription: booking in WhatsApp and Telegram, reminders and “time to book again” messages, AI answers, a business page, a website booking form and Google Calendar.
FAQ
How much does a WhatsApp booking bot cost?
It depends on the service. With AiKlient, it’s €15 a month for the whole salon, or about ₸7,600 (€15) in Kazakhstan, and WhatsApp booking, reminders and AI answers are included in the price. In Zapis.kz, the AI assistant for WhatsApp booking costs ₸38,025 (≈ €75.3) a month on top of the subscription; in Kanri, it’s ₸50,000 (≈ €99) on top of ₸20,000 (≈ €39.6) for the software.
Can I get a WhatsApp booking bot for free?
None of the services in this roundup offers a free bot that books clients in WhatsApp on its own. The free WhatsApp Business app sends a greeting and an auto-reply, but it doesn’t know your schedule. Manychat has a free plan, but you can’t connect WhatsApp on it. You can try AiKlient free for a month, no card needed, with booking right in the chat, reminders and AI answers.
How is a booking bot different from a WhatsApp Business auto-reply?
An auto-reply sends the same text every time, such as a greeting or “We can’t reply right now”. A booking bot knows your services, hours and booked slots: it offers the client a free slot, adds the booking to your calendar and sends a reminder before the visit on its own.
Which WhatsApp chatbot is right for a beauty salon?
For a small salon, the bot needs to book clients with different staff members, and the price shouldn’t grow with every new hire. In AiKlient you can add as many staff as you like, each with their own schedule; clients choose a specific person or “Anyone available”, and the price is €15 a month for the whole salon. If you need inventory, a POS and payroll, look at Altegio, and in Kazakhstan, Kanri as well.
Do I have to pay for WhatsApp messages?
Not with AiKlient: booking, reminders and AI answers in WhatsApp are included in the €15 a month. In Manychat, WhatsApp message fees are charged on top of the plan, from your balance. In Altegio, WhatsApp reminders are charged per message. Fresha includes 20 free messages a month, after which a WhatsApp message costs €0.11–0.30.
Is there a WhatsApp booking bot in Latvian or Kazakh?
Yes. The AiKlient bot works in nine languages: English, Russian, Latvian, Kazakh, Lithuanian, Estonian, German, Swedish and Norwegian. Clients book in their own language.
