Telegram booking bot for salons and nail techs: ready in 5 minutes, no code
A Telegram booking bot lets clients book with you right inside Telegram: they tap a service, a day and a time, and they never see a slot that’s already taken. You don’t need a developer or a bot builder for this. With a ready-made service you add your services and hours, then create a bot in @BotFather and connect it. The bot part takes about five minutes. You confirm each booking with one tap, and the bot sends the reminders.
Key points
- Clients book themselves at any hour and only see free slots.
- You confirm every booking with a button. The bot reminds clients the evening before and 2 hours before.
- The bot uses your business name, for example “Anna Nails” and @anna_nails_bot.
- AiKlient costs €15 a month, and the first month is free, no card needed.
- It’s the wrong tool if your clients don’t use Telegram (switch on WhatsApp booking instead) or if you need inventory and payroll for a whole salon.
What a Telegram booking bot does
Every pro gets their own bot. A client opens it from a link like t.me/anna_nails_bot and taps “📝 Book”. From there the bot:
- Shows only free slots, based on service length, your hours and existing bookings.
- Sends you every booking with two buttons, “✅ Confirm” and “❌ Cancel”. The client gets your answer in the same chat.
- Reminds the client the evening before (after 5 pm your time) and 2 hours before the visit.
- Lets clients cancel under “📋 My bookings”, and tells you. You move bookings from your dashboard, and the client gets the new time.
- Answers questions like “How much?” or “Open on Saturday?” with AI, using only your services, prices, hours, address and “About” text. It doesn’t make up answers.
- Brings clients back, if you switch it on: “time to book again” 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks after a visit, and a review request with your Google or Facebook link about 3 hours after the visit starts.
- Handles a team with a schedule per person, plus an “👥 Anyone available” option.
- Syncs with Google Calendar both ways. Times you’re busy in your own calendar are never offered, and AiKlient sees only “busy”, not the event details.
- Speaks 8 languages: English, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, German, Swedish and Norwegian.
You switch on and set up reminders, “time to book again” and review requests in the dashboard under “Bot → Reminders”:

What booking looks like for your client
Here’s a booking with a solo nail tech. The bot’s messages are quoted word for word; buttons are in square brackets. Services and prices match the Anna Nails demo page, entered here in English.
Client taps “📝 Book”.
Bot: Which service?
• Gel manicure — 60 min, 30 €
• Pedicure with polish — 75 min, 38 €
• Classic manicure — 45 min, 22 €
• Extensions & correction — 120 min, 55 €
• Nail art, 1 nail — 15 min, 5 €
• Removal + care — 25 min, 10 €Buttons under the message:
[Gel manicure · 30 €]
[Pedicure with polish · 38 €]
[Classic manicure · 22 €]
…Client picks the gel manicure.
Bot: Which day?
[Tomorrow, 22 October]
[Friday, 23 October]
[Saturday, 24 October]
…Client picks Friday.
Bot: What time?
[10:00] [10:30] [11:00] [11:30]
…Client picks 11:00.
Bot: What name should we use?
[👤 Maria]Bot: Please enter a phone number: (plus a short line on who stores the data and how to delete it)
Bot: ✅ You’re booked: Gel manicure, Friday, 23 October, 11:00. We’ll confirm and write here.
At the same moment you get this:
🆕 New booking #57
Gel manicure — Friday, 23 October, 11:00
👤 Maria
📞 +44 7…[✅ Confirm] [❌ Cancel]
Once you tap Confirm, the client gets three more messages:
Right away: ✅ Your booking is confirmed: Gel manicure, Friday, 23 October, 11:00. See you!
Thursday evening: 🔔 Reminder: tomorrow at 11:00 — Gel manicure.
Friday, around 9 am: 🔔 In 2 h, at 11:00 — Gel manicure. See you!
If you have staff, the bot also asks “Who would you like to book with?” Whether to ask for a phone number, email or notes is up to you. If you turn on payments, the client gets your payment link or bank details after you confirm, and the money goes straight to you.

And here’s the kind of question clients type instead of tapping a button:
Client: how much are extensions? are you open on saturday?
Bot: Extensions & correction is 55 € and takes about two hours. On Saturday we’re open from 10:00 to 18:00.
To book or see your bookings, use the buttons below.
The wording varies because AI writes it, but prices and hours always come from your settings.

You can book a slot as a client in the demo bot (opens in a new tab). There’s also a short video (opens in a new tab), about a minute and a half, of a nail tech’s day with the bot.
How to set up a Telegram booking bot in 6 steps
-
Sign in. Go to aiklient.com/app/login (opens in a new tab) and sign in with Telegram or Google. Your account is created on the spot, and the “Getting started” card on your dashboard walks you through the rest.
-
Add your services. What you do, what it costs and how long it takes.
-
Check your working hours. Days, times and the booking step (how often slots start, for example every 30 minutes). Each weekday can have its own hours.
-
Create your bot and connect it. Tap “Send instructions to Telegram” in the dashboard (if you signed in with Google, scan the QR code on that page with your phone). Then:
- open @BotFather and send /newbot;
- choose a name, such as “Anna Nails”, and a username that ends in “bot”, such as anna_nails_bot;
- BotFather replies “Done! Congratulations…” with a long code. Forward that message to @aiklient_bot.
The bot connects automatically and your dashboard updates. That code is the key to your bot, so don’t forward it to anyone except @aiklient_bot.
-
Decide on payments and WhatsApp. Choose how clients pay: online, by bank transfer or in person. Turn on WhatsApp booking, or keep Telegram only.
-
Book yourself in. See exactly what your client sees, then cancel the test booking in the dashboard.
Then put the link in your Instagram bio and print the QR code from the dashboard for your desk or reception. The bot step takes about 5 minutes; the rest depends on how many services you have. Short on time? The Help section has a “Set up the bot for me” form.

Why a bot beats answering DMs
People book when they have a spare minute, not when you’re between clients. Phorest, a salon booking platform, looked at more than 5,000 salons and spas and found that 46% of appointments were booked outside opening hours: 28% in the evening after closing and 18% in the morning before opening. The logic is simple: if a request comes in at 11 pm and you reply in the morning, the client may have booked elsewhere. The bot answers straight away and books a free slot while you rest.
Reminders help too. A 2011 review by Hasvold and Wootton pooled 29 studies on hospital appointments and found that automated SMS and voice reminders cut no-shows by 29% of the baseline rate on average. Hospitals aren’t salons, so treat it as a rough guide, not a promise.
Is there a free Telegram booking bot?
Yes, in a few forms, each with a catch:
- Open-source code on GitHub. The code is free, but you need a server, you install it, and you fix it when Telegram or a library changes. A good fit if you’re a developer.
- Free plans from booking systems. Some booking systems offer a free plan with basic booking. Check what’s included, for example whether automated reminders are part of it.
- Free trials. AiKlient gives you the first month free with full access, no card needed. After that it’s €15 a month, with the business page included.
Price isn’t everything: also check where clients book (chat, app or website) and who owns the client list.
Bot builder, freelancer or ready-made service?
| Ready-made service | Bot builder | Freelancer | DIY from GitHub | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Goes live | the day you sign up | once you build the flow | after development and testing | once you deploy it |
| Free slots and no double booking | built in | you build it, often on top of Google Calendar | as specified in your brief | depends on the code |
| Confirmations and reminders | built in | you set them up, if the builder supports them | as specified in your brief | depends on the code |
| Who keeps it running | the service | the builder runs it, you own the flow | agree on hosting and support | you |
| Cost | monthly subscription | builder plan | project fee, then hosting and support | your time and a server |
| What you can change | what the settings allow | almost anything | anything | anything |
A ready-made service suits standard booking. A bot builder makes sense for unusual flows like a quiz or a pre-consultation form, but test whether two people can grab the same slot before you go live. A freelancer is worth it when the bot must talk to your POS, CRM or website; agree up front on hosting, fixes and the monthly cost of support.
Ask any provider these questions. Here are AiKlient’s answers:
| Question | AiKlient |
|---|---|
| Who confirms bookings? | You, with a button in Telegram or in the dashboard |
| When do reminders go out? | The evening before, plus 2, 3, 4 or 6 hours before |
| Can clients book via WhatsApp? | Yes, on the shared AiKlient number or your own |
| Where is client data stored? | On a server in Latvia, in the EU |
| Do you take a cut of payments? | No, clients pay you directly |
When a Telegram bot is the wrong choice
Your clients don’t use Telegram. Check where people message you today. If it’s WhatsApp, switch on WhatsApp booking alongside your Telegram bot, which also sends the reminders. By default clients write to the shared AiKlient number: free, nothing to register, but the chat shows the AiKlient name. Your own number goes through Meta: about 20–30 minutes of setup, and Meta charges a few cents per reminder. Booking notifications reach you in Telegram, or by email if Telegram isn’t linked.
Your clients prefer to call. The bot doesn’t take calls. Add your phone number and a “📞 Call” button appears in the bot’s menu.
You need software for a whole salon. POS, inventory and payroll belong to larger salon booking systems. AiKlient covers booking, reminders, the client list, PDF invoices and staff schedules.
You want a marketplace to send you new clients. The bot takes bookings from people who have already found you. To help Google find you, every account includes a free business page with online booking, like this demo business page (opens in a new tab).
You want clients to book by typing “Friday at 11?” Bookings only go through buttons. The bot answers questions, but it won’t turn a sentence into a booking, so nobody ends up with the wrong time.
How much a Telegram booking bot costs
AiKlient is a Telegram and WhatsApp booking bot for beauty pros and small salons. One plan, €15 a month, covers the bot, WhatsApp booking, reminders, AI answers, the business page, Google Calendar sync and unlimited staff. The first month is free with full access: no card needed, no contract, cancel any time. Clients pay you directly and we take no cut. When a colleague you invited pays for their plan, you get a free month. See the AiKlient booking app home page for details.
FAQ
Do my clients need to install anything?
No. If they have Telegram, they open your bot from a link and book with buttons. They don’t register anywhere.
Can clients reschedule in the bot?
Not directly. Clients can cancel under “📋 My bookings” and book a new time. You can move a booking from your dashboard, and the client gets a message with the new time.
Does the bot answer questions on its own?
Yes, with AI, but only from your own data: services, prices, hours, address and your “About” text. If the answer isn’t there, it says so and suggests asking you. Bookings always go through buttons.
Does it work with WhatsApp too?
Yes. You can switch on WhatsApp booking on the shared AiKlient number or connect your own number through Meta. It works alongside your Telegram bot, which also sends the reminders.
