Booking app for independent beauty pros in Kazakhstan: clients book themselves on WhatsApp
A booking app in Kazakhstan has to work in WhatsApp, first and foremost. Almost every young person here uses it: in a 2024 survey of young people, 89.4% used WhatsApp and 24.6% used Telegram. AiKlient takes bookings right in WhatsApp and Telegram chats: the client picks a service, day and time without downloading anything, and the bot itself sends visit reminders and uses AI to answer questions.
The bot, business page and dashboard work in Kazakh, Russian and English; prices are shown in tenge, and you can take prepayments through your own Kaspi Pay. It costs about 7,600 ₸ (€15) a month for the whole salon, and the first month is free, no card needed. Below you’ll find what you get, how to add a booking link to Instagram and 2GIS, and how AiKlient compares with Zapis.kz, DIKIDI, Altegio and EasyWeek.
Why AiKlient works well for beauty pros in Kazakhstan
- Booking right in WhatsApp and Telegram. Clients book where they already message you: they pick a service, day and time in the chat, with no app and no sign-up. The bot never offers a time that’s already taken, so you’re never double-booked.
- AI answers clients 24/7 in Russian, Kazakh and English. The bot answers “How much are extensions?”, “Where are you located?” and “Are you open on Saturday?” by itself, using your services, prices, hours and address. When it doesn’t know, it suggests asking you.
- Reminders at no extra cost. The evening before and 2 hours before the visit (or 3, 4 or 6), the bot messages the client in the same messenger they used to book. You don’t pay separately for messages.
- Kazakh in the bot, on the page and in the dashboard. There are nine languages in all, including English, and each client picks their own.
- A business page with booking. aiklient.com/s/your-name: photos of your work, prices, booking right on the page, WhatsApp and Telegram buttons, and a “Directions” block with a 2GIS button. Put the link in your Instagram bio and your 2GIS listing.
- Prepayments through your own Kaspi Pay. Clients pay you directly, and AiKlient takes no commission.
- One price for the whole salon. Add as many staff as you like, each with their own schedule. You pay monthly, the first month is free with no card, and there’s no contract.
- Your clients stay yours. There’s no shared catalogue listing your competitors, you can take your client contacts with you at any time, and data is stored on servers in the EU.
How beauty pros in Almaty and Astana take bookings now
Online booking with a beauty pro in Almaty or Astana often starts with a WhatsApp message. In the analytical report “Youth of Kazakhstan” for 2024, 89.4% of respondents used WhatsApp, 79.8% Instagram, 63.9% TikTok and 24.6% Telegram. Instagram serves as the shop window: in late 2025, Instagram’s ad audience in Kazakhstan was 13.1 million people, or 62.7% of the population (DataReportal).
You can see where clients look for a pro in the Yandex search suggestions we collected for Almaty and Astana on 18 October 2026. Searching in Russian, people look for a manicure in Astana on 2GIS, on OLX or nearby, and for lash extensions in Almaty on Instagram. Clients find a pro on Instagram, 2GIS or OLX, and most often message them on WhatsApp.
As long as bookings go through your personal chats, everything rests on you: replying between clients, finding a free slot in your notebook, remembering to send a reminder the day before. A client who messages you at 11 pm waits until morning for a reply. The bot takes this work off your hands and replies right away.
How clients book via WhatsApp
You set up WhatsApp booking in your dashboard under “Bot → WhatsApp”: switch on “Booking via WhatsApp” and you get a link for clients. A client taps it and WhatsApp opens with a ready-made message, so all they have to do is send it. From there, the bot handles the booking on its own:
- Offers free slots. It takes into account the length of the service, your working hours and slots that are already booked.
- Doesn’t ask for a phone number: in WhatsApp, the client’s number is already visible.
- Sends you every booking. The notification arrives in Telegram. If you signed in with Google and haven’t linked Telegram, it comes by email. You confirm the booking with a button or in the dashboard, and the client finds out in the chat straight away.
- Answers questions. When a client types a question, AI reads it and answers from your own data: services, prices, working hours, address and your “About” text. If the answer isn’t there, the bot doesn’t make one up; it suggests asking you. The booking itself goes step by step: the client picks from ready-made options, so the time can’t get mixed up.
- Sends reminders the evening before, after 5 pm your time, and 2 hours before the start, for bookings you’ve confirmed.
- Lets clients cancel under “📋 My bookings”: the slot frees up and you get a notification.
- Invites clients back and asks for reviews, if you turn this on. After 4–12 weeks the bot lets the client know it’s time to book again, and after the visit it sends a link to your reviews, for example your 2GIS listing.
You don’t pay separately for WhatsApp messages: they’re included in the subscription.
You don’t need Telegram for WhatsApp booking. If you want to take bookings there too, connect your own Telegram bot: it takes about five minutes in @BotFather.
To see what it looks like for the client, open the nail tech’s demo page (opens in a new tab): it has a WhatsApp button.

As an independent pro, you don’t need a separate booking app to install: clients don’t download anything, and the dashboard opens in your phone’s browser.
Add a booking link to Instagram and 2GIS
Instagram bio
Instagram lets you add up to five links to your profile. You do this in the app:
- Open your profile and tap “Edit profile”.
- Tap “Links”, add an external link and paste the address.
- Tap “Done”.
Add two links: your business page at aiklient.com/s/your-name and your WhatsApp booking link. The page has prices, photos, a booking form and messenger buttons, and the WhatsApp link opens a chat with the bot straight away. If your bio already has a link-in-bio page such as Taplink, add a “Book now” button to it that links to your page.
Your 2GIS listing
2GIS is a map and business directory in one, and people use it to find pros nearby. Adding a business to 2GIS is free: you fill in a form for company representatives, and within three working days 2GIS calls you back to check the details.
You manage the listing in the free company account at account.2gis.com: there you can change your phone number and opening hours, upload photos, handle reviews and add a website. Put your business page link in the website field: clients will follow it and book on the page or on WhatsApp.
What else you can link to 2GIS:
- Reviews. Under “Bot → Reminders”, the “Review link” field accepts any link, for example to your 2GIS listing. Turn on “Ask for feedback”, and about three hours after the visit starts, the client gets a request to leave a review, with the link.
- Directions. Add your address to your business page and paste the link to your 2GIS listing into the “Map link” field. A “2GIS” button appears in the “Directions” block, next to Google Maps and Waze.

Kazakh language: bot, page and dashboard
AiKlient’s bot, business page and dashboard all work in Kazakh. The client picks a language in the bot menu, and the AI answers in that language. There are nine languages in all: Kazakh, Russian, English, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, German, Swedish and Norwegian.
On your business page you can turn on several languages at once, for example Kazakh, Russian and English, and visitors switch languages at the top of the page. Have a look at the demo page in Kazakh (opens in a new tab) and AiKlient’s website in Kazakh.

Take prepayments through your own Kaspi
Kaspi.kz has about 15.7 million monthly active users, and there are about 764,000 active merchants in the Kaspi ecosystem (Kaspi.kz annual report, figures as of the end of 2025).
In AiKlient you can connect your own payment method: clients pay online, by PDF invoice or in cash on site. For Kazakhstan, the dashboard has Kaspi Pay: clients pay you directly, and AiKlient takes no commission. To show service prices in tenge, choose KZT as the currency under “Bot → Payment”.
Set the prepayment amount in the same “Bot → Payment” section: once you confirm a booking, the client gets a payment link. Your refund policy is up to you, and you can add it to your “About” text.

When a big system makes sense, and when AiKlient does
Altegio and Zapis.kz are built for salons that keep track of inventory, cash registers and finances, and Altegio also calculates payroll. DIKIDI and Zapis.kz offer a catalogue where clients choose among many providers. If your salon needs all of that, these systems are worth considering.
Most independent pros and small salons don’t need inventory or payroll tools. Their clients already message them on WhatsApp and find them on Instagram, so what matters more is that booking, reminders and answers to questions happen in WhatsApp. That’s exactly what AiKlient does: booking right in the chat, reminders at no extra cost, AI answers, a business page, Kaspi Pay and the Kazakh language, all in one subscription. If a client phones you, you add the booking to your dashboard calendar by hand, and a “📞 Call” option appears in the bot menu once you add your phone number.
How to set up AiKlient: 8 steps
- Sign in to the dashboard at aiklient.com/app/login (opens in a new tab) with Telegram or Google. The first month is free, and we don’t ask for a card. You can switch the dashboard to Kazakh or Russian right away.
- Set your time zone. Under “Working hours”, choose “Almaty, Astana, Kazakhstan”: free slots and reminder times depend on the time zone. Set your working days and booking step there too.
- Choose tenge. Under “Bot → Payment”, set the currency to KZT.
- Add your services: what you do, what it costs and how long it takes.
- Turn on WhatsApp. Under “Bot → WhatsApp”, switch on “Booking via WhatsApp”, and the dashboard shows your direct booking link.
- Connect payments if you take prepayments: for example, Kaspi Pay under “Bot → Payment”.
- Build your page. In “My page”, add photos, your address and the link to your 2GIS listing, and turn on the languages you need, such as Kazakh, Russian and English.
- Add your links and test. Put your page and WhatsApp link in your Instagram bio, and enter your page address in the website field on 2GIS. Then book yourself in via WhatsApp and cancel the test booking in the dashboard.
To take bookings in Telegram too, connect your own bot: our Telegram booking bot guide shows how to do it in five minutes. No time to figure it out? The “Help” section has a “Set up the bot for me” form: fill it in and we’ll reply within the day.
